The history of the Maison Georges Larnicol started in 1985 in Quimper (Brittany) with the opening of a pastry shop and tearoom by Georges and Yolande Larnicol.
In 1993, the title of One of the Best Craftsmen of France obtained by George rewards eight years of work, preparation and competition.
The Maison really began to thrive in 1999 with the opening in Concarneau of a shop with a revolutionary concept in the world of pastry and chocolates : a self-service. Many creations also participated in the development of the company, like the famous Boules à Jojo®, the Torchette® and of course, the Kouignette®.
Since then the Maison has never stopped growing, and counts today 36 shops in France (Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Lille, Quimper….). However, the totality of the products is still made in Brittany (Melgven) by a hundred of employees. The next step for the Maison Georges Larnicol is to bring its products and craft to other European countries and abroad.
The values of Georges Larnicol are those of artisanal craftsmanship and high quality ingredients, while remaining as affordable as possible to be enjoyed by all!
