The history of the Maison Georges Larnicol started in 1985 in Quimper (Brittany) with the opening of a pastry shop and tearoom by Georges and Yolande Larnicol. In 1993, the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) obtained by George reward eight years of work. The Maison really began to thrive in 1999 with the opening in Concarneau of a shop with a revolutionary concept in the world of pastry and chocolates : a self-service. Many creations also participated in the development of the company, like the famous Boules à Jojo®, the Torchette® and, of course, the Kouignette®.
